newness

every week brings me new adventures... i love my job! i just returned from seven days on the Liberty of the Seas and have to say it was AWESOME!
just before going i picked up some new stones for the ROCK WRAPS... these olive jade crosses make such a nice clean look... turns out that it was a good choice! and now i'm hunting for more colors! good stuff!!

my MACEY girl

for those who have been to my shows, you've seen the picture of me and my kids... they are my family and my loves. MACEY, my love of 14+ years passed on the 17th of July. she was a gift from beginning to end. she gave me 14 incredible years of unconditional love that i could, as a human, never repay... i don't believe myself or anyone would be capable of giving love the way dogs do. they are angels on earth and God's blessing to those who choose to share their lives with a dog. i whole heartedly believe she'll be there to meet me in heaven and i look forward to our reunion. for now she's there keeping my Grandmother company for me :)
both my Grandmother and my MACEY are part of Rock Candy and always will be... there's nothing that will ever change that.
on the day she had to go, i posted this message to her on my facebook status:

THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, MY JOY AND THE ONE WHO HAS LOVED ME UNCONDITIONALLY FOR 14 YEARS, IS GONE. SHE'S IN HEAVEN. MACEY, I DON'T HAVE THE WORDS THAT ARE SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO ENCOMPASS THE LOVE THAT I HAVE FOR YOU. I'LL LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU FOREVER.

being home from the cruise and facing the fact that Jake & i are in this together now is something we both are having trouble getting used to.

all you can do is love and thank your dog every day. there is no way to pay them back.
ALL MY LOVE MACEY... you're my girl!

getting around

in april i wrote about my experience on the fabulous Jewel of the Seas and my new found friend ANTONY. seems that the ROCK WRAPS get around... here is his in EGYPT!! how totally and absolutely COOL is that? i love that he sent me this picture to show me how dedicated he is to his own personal ROCK WRAP... apparently so dedicated that he's now forced to wear it to hide the tan line it has created on his arm because he wears it so much!!
i've heard of the farmer's tan with the marks starting at the short sleeve line on the arm, and i've even heard of the trailer tan which is the outline of the "wife beater" tank, even the golfer's tan with the tan only above the sock line... but what should we call the tan line that the ROCK WRAPS make?? hmmm...open to suggestions...

also, remember to make today count...tomorrow is promised to no one. xo
